Septarian Fossil Cluster Statement Earrings
What is a septarian fossil you may be asking…. Aside from it being contemorary, unique, and one of a kind, septarian is a sedimentary rock that is formed from the decomposition of organic matter, such as shells and bones. Septarian stones are typically between 50 and 70 million years old. These particular stones were mined in the United States.
It is believed the spiritual meaning of septarian is all about wholeness, unity, and oneness. Septarian also helps you to connect with others, promoting cooperation and understanding.
I felt they needed a little touch of color, so I paired the septarian with prehnite, freshwater micro pearls, and sterling silver beads, spacers, and wire. They are on the shorter side as compared to most of my earrings. Chunky, substantial, comfortable and very intriguing.
